Feeling inspired by Easter, I made a couple of felt easter bunnies for my work colleagues (there are only two of them). Back home in England, we love Easter and we get out the decorations (yes, we have Easter decorations) and eat lots of chocolate.
They are about 10cm in height and took about an hour to make for each one – depending on how fast I was sewing. It would be great for a beginner to sewing. I then stuffed in with toy stuffing, making sure the ears where nice and firm (I used a pen to push the stuffing up through the ears).
My bunnies are fairly simple, but you could decorate them more (and even add a body!). Click here for the template – the template is drawn on an A5 piece of paper so scale according to how big you want to make your bunny.
Just found a lovely little page with some great Easter inspiration! Click here. This has a different take on the bunny face.
